JPSD is soliciting formal bid proposals from qualified contractors for the installation of a new thermoplastic polyolefin roofing system. It is the intent of these specifications to fully comply with the minimum specifications of ASTM D 6878 last updated November 04, 2021.
Project Site
The site of the roof replacement is the Callaway High School Football Field House located at 601 Beasley Road, Jackson, MS 39206. The football field house is approximately 4900 SF. Each Contractor should verify roof square footage prior to bidding. Each Contractor is strongly encouraged to become familiar with the existing roofing conditions. Failure to visit the site does not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility of providing a complete demolition and roof replacement according to the outlined specifications.
Scope of the Work
Demolition: Contractor to remove existing metal coping, remove existing roof layers down to decking, and remove six (6) existing skylights.
