Sealed, written formal bid proposals for the above bid will be received by the Board of Trustees of the

Jackson Public School District, in the Business Office, 662 South President Street, Jackson, Mississippi, until

10:00 A.M. (Local Prevailing Time) Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at which time and place they will be

publicly opened and read aloud. A Pre-Bid Conference concerning the project for Marshall and Oak Forest

Elementary Schools, will be held at 1831 Smallwood Street, Jackson, MS, 39212, on September 14, 2023, at

3:00 P.M. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory but strongly encouraged. The Board of

Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to withhold the acceptance of

any bid if approved for forty-five calendar days from the date bids are opened.

Plan holders are required to register and order bid documents at www.jpsdmsprojects.com. A $150.00 Nonrefundable

deposit shall be required on each set of bid specs/documents and must be purchased through the

website. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Questions regarding

Until further notice, all hand delivery proposals delivered between 9:00 a.m. until 9:59 a.m. (local prevailing

time) the date the bid is scheduled to open, must be delivered to JPSD Board Room, 621 South State Street,

Jackson, MS 39201.

Also, until further notice, all opening will be recorded and uploaded to the JPSD web site at

https://www.youtube.com/jpsitv for public viewing due to Covid 19. Vendors will not be allowed to sit in on the bid

openings.
